March 21-24: Finish Warhol and start Peter Max. March 14-16: Go to Goole Classroom and create a web of information off the PPT's. One for Warhol and one for Pop art. Start selfie Warhol portraits. Due next week. March. 7-11: Fix a rip in a photograph, cut girl out of photo and patch back up. Feb. 29- March 4: Illustrator lesson with Graphic Designer, Mr. Weaver. Feb. 22-26: Finish Health Concern Informational Poster and turn in. Feb. 16-19: Research health concern for informational poster, start thumbnail sketches, keep in mind proximity, alignment and contrast. Feb. 8- 12: Finish POW WOW poster keeping in mind all you have learned up to this point, Stress on Alignment and Proximity. Start tutorial on Contrast. Introduce Health poster. Feb. 1-5: Create Wacipi Pow Wow poster, stressing alignment and proximity. Redoe work not up to par. Jan 25-Jan 29:
Jan 19- 22: Review Type Groups and Contrasts, work on Character counts poster. Refer to Rubric and direction sheet. Due end of week. Jan. 11-15: Read Different Type Groups, cut out the 6 main families and paste and label on 8 X 10 paper. Read Contrast of Type and find a sample for each of the six categories mentioned in te booklet. Cut out and paste onto 8X 10, label and hand back in. Quiz over both readings. Introduce Photoshop and start to teach layers. Create a poster for Character Counts. Pick a character and place a letter in each layer. See File with directions and rubric. Jan. 4-8: Bring a good a product that you feel demonstrates good design and another that displays bad design. Write a paragraph explanation of why you feel that way. |
